From Owatonna Jnl, Feb 17, 1908, Pg.3 Jay Emmett Truesdell J.E. TRUESDELL DEAD Well-Known Minnesotan Dies After Six Weeks' Illness. J. E. Truesdell died last evening at his home, 1910 Dupont Avenue S. in his seventy-second year. The funeral will take place Wednesday from the residence, the services being private. Mr. Truesdell was born in New York state and has been a resident of Minnesota for about thirty years. Up to five years ago he resided at Owatonna, where he conducted a land and loan business, his operations being particularly extensive in North Dakota. Six weeks ago Mr. Truesdell was taken ill and had been failing ever since that time. He is survived by Mrs. Truesdell and four children, Mrs. Harry A. Reynolds of Walla Walla, Wash., Mrs. Carleton S. Brown of Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Miss Ada Truesdell and L. G. Truesdell of Minneapolis. His children were all here at the time of his death. (SOURCE: Jean Crump)
